Shillong ( Meghalaya), Jan 18 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi has communicated to the Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma that he will not be able to attend the Golden Jubilee celebration of Meghalaya’s attainment of statehood on January 21 next ,

This was disclosed by Meghalaya Deputy Chief Minister, Prestone Tynsong to the media.
Tynsong, however, said that the Prime Minister will virtually deliver his message on the occasion and the government officials are working in this regard.
