Meghalaya Monitor editor roughed up while covering sit -in demonstration in Shillong

Shillong ( Meghalaya), Sep 20 : The editor of the news portal, Meghalaya Monitor , EM Jose was roughed up on Monday while covering the sit-in demonstration organized by four pressure groups near Barik Point here .

The incident occurred at around 11. 30 am when a group of masked supporters of the sit-in -demonstration with one of them holding a black flag roughed up the editor .

Meanwhile, the organizers ,KSU, FKJGP, HNYF and RBYF have tendered apology for the attack on the editor of Meghalaya Monitor , EM Jose, who was covering the demonstration .
