Shillong (Meghalaya), Oct 7 : 128 fresh Covid cases were reported in the state on Wednesday taking the state tally to 7,165 .
Among the new cases 72 were from East Khasi Hills , 33 from Ri Bhoi, 11 from West Garo Hills, 4 from East Garo Hills, , 3 from South Garo Hills, 1 from North Garo Hills and 2 each from West Jaintia Hills and East Jaintia HIlls.

A total of 88 patients were also declared recovered on Wednesday .
The state has so far reported 7,165 cases of which 2,411 are active cases after 4,694 patients were declared recovered, and the death toll due to Covid till now is 60 .
