Shillong (Meghalaya) Feb 25: Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma attended the Induction Training Programme for 35 newly selected Meghalaya Civil Service (MCS) Officers, Batch 2025, at the Meghalaya Administrative Training Institute (MATI) on Tuesday, Feb 25.
Addressing the new officers, the Chief Minister emphasized the significance of public service, urging them to adopt a people-first approach and work with passion, patience, and integrity. He reminded them that leadership is not about power, but about serving others and creating positive change.
“You hold a powerful tool – the pen,” Chief Minister Sangma advised. “Use it wisely to bring justice, resolve grievances, and drive progress. Remember, the decisions you make will directly impact people’s lives.”
