Tura (Meghalaya), Dec 24 : Acting on a specific input East Garo Hills police team on Tueday that a huge cache of ammunitation were hidden at Chipot Mongre A.bri a police party led by led by DSP Victor N Sangma rushed to Chipit .
The next day at 7.30 am the operation team recovered 47 nos of .30-06 mm ammunition suspected to be belonging to GNLA.

The ammunition were brought to Williamnagar police station and a case has been registered.
Efforts are still on to recover more Arms and ammunition from the district.
