Shillong ( Meghalaya), Aug 14 : 7 more Covid deaths and 342 fresh cases were reported in the state in the last 24 hours .
According to official sources , 7 more patients succumbed to their infections taking the death toll to 1,220 .
The deceased have been identified as 1. Binoris Pale (63) of Syad, Riiaka Kharkongor (48) of Madanrting, Shillong , Diangti Lyngdoh Nongrang (49) of Langkyrding Mihngi,Seema Ghosh (34) of Oakland,Shillong , Damlimon Lynshiang (22) of Syntung.,Godwin Nongrud (71) of Jaiaw Lumpyllon, Shillong and Edelbert Kharnaior (46) of Umsohlait, Mawhati.
342 new cases were detected in the state on Saturday with East Khasi Hills on the top with 147 cases .
A total of 918 patients were also discharged on Saturday after full recovery .
The active cases now stand at 3,931 .
