Shillong ( Meghalaya), Feb 23 : The Indian National Congress (INC) has announced its first list of candidates for the GHADC Election 2026 in Meghalaya, featuring 24 contestants vying for seats in various constituencies. The list includes prominent names like Kartick R. Marak, Budhar M. Marak, and Sadhiarani M. Sangma, showcasing the party’s effort to strengthen its presence in local governance.
The candidates will contest from constituencies such as Siju, Wagesik, Silkigre, Tura, and Rongrikkimgre, among others. The INC’s move comes as part of its strategy to bolster its position in Meghalaya’s politics.
