Shillong (Meghalaya), Mar 27 : The Meghalaya Cricket Association (MCA) has announced a 15-member squad to represent the state in the forthcoming 2nd NECDC Senior Women Tournament 2025. The tournament, organized by the North East Cricket Development Council, will be held in Rangpo, Sikkim, from April 7 to 9.
Debasmita Dutta will lead the team as captain, with Riticia Nongbet serving as vice-captain. The squad was announced by MCA Honorary Secretary Rayonald Kharkamni.
The selected players will undergo rigorous training to prepare for the tournament. The first edition of the NECDC Senior Women Tournament was held in Nongkhrah, Ri-Bhoi, last year, with Sikkim and Nagaland declared joint winners after the final was washed out by a tropical storm.
