Tura(Meghalaya), Mar 28 : Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma today attended the SPARK Summit 2025 at the District Auditorium in Tura, marking a year of milestones under the SPARK Programme. This initiative, launched by the Department of Education, under Samagra Shiksha, focuses on School Programmes in Articulation, Resilience, and Kindness.
Joining the Chief Minister were H M Shangpliang, Advisor to the Government of Meghalaya, Department of Education; Swapnil Tembe, Secretary, Education and Director of School Education & Literacy and State Project Director, SEMAM-SSA; Jagdish Chelani, Deputy Commissioner, West Garo Hills; Principals of various schools in Garo Hills region; and other dignitaries.
In his address, Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma stressed that education goes beyond academic excellence, aiming to foster personality development, confidence building, and nurturing compassionate individuals.
