Shillong (Meghalaya), Nov 30: In a bid to resolve the ongoing North Eastern Hill University (NEHU) issue, a delegation of State BJP leaders, led by Minister AL Hek, met with the Governor at Raj Bhavan today evening.
The meeting, which lasted for an hour, focused on discussing possible steps to resolve the issue.
The Governor was also briefed on the delegation’s recent visit to Delhi, where they met with central leaders to discuss the matter. The state BJP has assured that they will continue their efforts to find a solution to the NEHU issue.
This development comes as a significant step towards resolving the long-standing issue, which has been a major concern for the university community. With the BJP leaders and the Governor working together, hopes are high that a solution will be found soon.
