Shillong ( Meghalaya), June 1 : 14 more Covid -19 fatalities were reported in the state in the last 24 hours taking the death toll so far to 592 .
According to a government statement , 12 deaths were reported from Easy Khasi Hills while 1 each was reported South West Khasi Hills and East Jaintia Hills .
The deceased have identified as:Play Phawa (74) of Khliehriat, Raj Kumar Purajay (78) of Laitumkhrah, Shillong , Seniorita Nongkynrih (70) of Mawlai Iewrynghep, Shillong , Kliancy Synrem (80) of Mawngap Mawkharshiing, Ratan Singh Rana (66) of Nongrah, Shillong , April B Lyngdoh (69) of Raid Laban, Shillong ,.Raphael Kshiar (59) of Mawlai Umshing, Shillong , Esman Kharsyntiew (72) of Sadew, Leo Lyttan Wahlang (73) of Lower Mawprem, Shillong , Magrita Wankhar (56) of Mawphlang, Elizabeth Marboh (68) of Mawlynrei, Martin Lyngdoh Ryntathiang (61) of Mawlai Nongpdeng, Shillong , Bajiedlang Nongbri (42) of Upper Nongthymmai, Shillong and Starlan Kharlyngdoh (45) of Nonglang.
The state reported 467 new cases on Tuesday out of which 257 were from East Khasi Hills and 67 from Ri Bhoi after conducting a total 3,100 tests .
760 patients undergoing treatment were released today after full recovery on Tuesday .
The active cases now stand at 6,606 .
