Assam : No restrictions during Diwali this year

Guwahati (Assam), Nov 10 : The government here has decided not to put any restrictions during the forthcoming Diwali festivities including the use of fire crackers .

Justifying his point , Heath Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted , “Like any other religion, Hindus have the right to celebrate festivals. However, kindly remember, self-restraint is key to combat #COVID19.”
