Guwahati(Assam), Oct 2 : 10 more Covid patients succumbed to their infections at various hospitals in the state on Friday taking the death toll to 721 .
A total of 1416 new Covid cases were detected on Friday taking the total number of cases so far to 183812.

Among the new cases detected today , 445 were from Kamrup(Metro), 110 from Jorhat, 103 from Dibrugarh and 101 from Golaghat .
The positivity rate for the day is 5% .
