Imphal (Manipur) : The 23-year-old girl who was tested positive for COVID-19 on March 23 has now fully recovered. In the the two tests carried out on Sunday and Monday she tested negative . She is the first patient from the state and the region who has fought the germ and fully recovered .
The girl who had returned from UK was undergoing treatment at Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences (JNIMS), here.

“Its a huge achievement for the whole medical department in general and the doctors and staff of JNIMS in particular,” said State Health and Family Welfare Minister L Jayantakumar Singh.
She will be given counselling so that her mental stress can be taken care of as she has gone through many days of isolation.
