Kokrajhar (Assam) ,Dec 7: Dhubri Lok Sabha MP and AIUDF chief Maulana Badruddin Ajmal has said that the Congress-AIUDF combine will emerge as be king maker in formation of the next Bodoland Territorial( BTC) as people desperately want parivartan and welfare of the citizens .
Dhubri MP Ajmal while campaigning for Congress-AIUDF party’s candidates in Kokrajhar today, said that no any party can form the BTC government without the support of Congress-AIUDF combine in BTC.
He said that this time around common citizens in BTC are voting in favour of parivartan and development .
He has claimed that Congress-AIUDF combine will finally emerge as king makers .
AIUDF is contesting in 7 seats and Congress in 13 seats in the council elections.
Commenting on the activities of Senior Assam minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma,Ajmal said that Dr. Sarma cannot become the chief minister of the state in his entire life because his political aspirations are not seeing the light of the day .
He added that Dr Sarma’s electioneering in BTC by performing break dance is only to attract common masses, but nothing for the development of the society.
“Dr .Sarma’s recent reaction on Ajmal Foundation is not acceptable as Ajmal Foundation is working for the welfare and development of the society”, Ajmal said .
Dhubri MLA Nazrul Islam also claimed that Congress-AIUDF alliance party’s candidates are definately going to emerge victorious in the council elections.
Congress-AIUDF alliance candidate for Fakiragram constituency Anowar Hussain said that he was sure to win with majority votes in the constituency.
