Kokrajhar ( Assam), Sep 17 : Within the two months of the NLFB’s (National Liberation Front of Boroland) coming to the mainstream on July 22 last ,a new armed militant group with nomenclature United Liberation for Bodoland (ULB) has started operating in Bodo belt.
The ULB was reportedly formed on Sep 15 for creation of a separate Bodoland state within the framework of the Indian constitution.
According to a video which has gone viral from the ULB, B Mwkthang is the president of the outfit and has several members as district commanders of the organization in Kokrajhar, Chirang, Baksa, Udalguri, Sonitpur districts.
The outfit has already prepared strategies for an armed struggle for creation of a separate Bodoland state in the region.
It is worth mentioning that the NLFB had come to the mainstream on July 22 last and so far 150 members have surrendered before government and the members are presently staying at various designated camps in Kokrajhar and Udalguri districts.
