Guwahati (Assam) , June 28 : With 246 cases detected in the State on Saturday the numbers have crossed the 7000 mark with 7165 total cases .
However , it is not know how may cases have reported in Guwahati where community transmission has been confirmed .
To check further community spread in the capital a 14- day complete lockdown has been imposed from Sunday midnight .

This is going to be the strictest lockdown which the city has ever witnessed with everything shut except medical service .
Assam Health Minister tweeted on Saturday night , “📌Alert ~ 246 new #COVID19+ cases detected in Assam today.
