Guwahati(Assam), May 1 : A total of 3,453 fresh Covid -19 cases were detected in the state on Saturday out of which 1,417 cases were reported from Kamrup (M) .
The overall positivity percentage is (3453 cases out of 54002 test done = 6.39%).

23 deaths were also reported from the state today due to Covid -19 related complications.
Assam Health Minister , Dr. H. B .Sarma today paid a visit to Oxygen unit Premier Cryogenics in Suwalkuchi, which has a capacity of 30 MT and was was shut down for long for various reasons. He visited the factory to request management to revive both units.
Within a month Assam will start to get 30 MT more of O2.
Till date, COVID-19 vaccine doses administered in the state is 25,66,157 .
