Guwahati (Assam) , Aug 29 : 3 more Covid patients passed away on Saturday in the state taking the death toll to 289 .
The patients have been identified as Dipali Bhuyan (76) of Dibrugarh; Dharam Nath Singh (57) of Tinsukia and Anjit Kumar Nath (54) of West Karbi Anglong.

Meanwhile , Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has sent his condolences to bereaved family members .
