2 more critically ill Covid patients die in Assam, death toll 66

Guwahati (Assam), July 22 : 2 more critically ill Covid patients succumbed to their infections of Wednesday taking the death toll to 66.

According to official sources , 54 -year -old Alok Ghosh died at the ICU of Jorhat Medical college while 47-year -old Haren Boron from Kamrup Metro passed away at the ICU of Guwahati Medical College Hospital.

Confirming the deaths, Health Minister , Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted , “Two more patients Alok Ghosh (54, Jorhat) and Haren Boron (47, Kamrup Metro), lost the battle against #COVID19 today taking total death count in Assam to 66.My thoughts and prayers are with their families.”
