Shillong (Meghalaya), June 22: The bag belonging to Sonam Raghuvanshi, containing a staggering Rs 5 lakhs in cash, precious jewelry, and a country-made pistol, has been recovered from a property dealer in Indore. The accused property dealer, Silom James, has been arrested and is currently in police custody.
The authorities had been investigating the case and finally cracked it with the recovery of the stolen items. James is believed to have been involved in concealing evidence and was found to be in possession of Sonam Raghuvanshi’s valuables. The police are now working to unravel the circumstances surrounding the theft and determine if there were any other individuals involved.
The case relates to the murder of Raja Raghuvanshi, Sonam’s husband, who was killed during their honeymoon in Sohra. Sonam is accused of orchestrating her husband’s murder and is currently in custody.
