Shillong (Meghalaya ), Jan 31 : The Primary School Teachers under the banner of All Garo Hills Primary School Teacher Association today held a sit-in demonstration at Dakopgre ground in Garo Hills to pressurize the state Government to regularize their service.
The protest was led by its President Mithunjoy Ch Marak and General Secretary Halter Leo N Marak.

Speaking to the media, the leaders of the organization said their demands include relieving the primary teachers from election duties and to appoint at least four teachers in LP school.
The leaders said that the Primary School Teachers have been facing numerous hardships.
