Khanapara (Meghalaya), Dec 1: The University of Science and Technology Meghalaya (USTM) celebrated its Founder’s Day with a grand musical festival, OneNorthEast-1.0, featuring eight exceptional bands from the eight northeastern states of India.
The event, organized by Mawjam Event Network and legendary musician Dr. Lou Majaw, brought together a diverse range of musical talents, creating a unique symphony of cultural integration.
The participating bands included: The Eternal Triangle (Assam), Techi (Arunachal Pradesh), Even Flow (Mizoram), Roll Heads (Sikkim), Rewben Mashangva (Manipur), Asano Metha (Nagaland), Pillow Records (Tripura) and local Khasi band, Daphnella (Meghalaya)
The festival celebrated the themes of love, peace, and togetherness, delivering a powerful message of unity across the region. With its rich cultural diversity and musical heritage, the OneNorthEast Music Festival was a true celebration of the Northeast’s vibrant spirit.
