Shillong(Meghalaya), Feb 7 : Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma has announced the state’s initiatives to foster collaboration and partnership with Japan, leveraging India’s strong bilateral relationship with the country.
Addressing the 5th India-Japan Conclave in Guwahati, Sangma emphasized the importance of a strong partnership with Japan, citing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s efforts to ensure mutual economic prosperity. “We firmly believe in a strong partnership, trust, and relationship with Japan,” he said.
Inspired by the Prime Minister’s vision, Meghalaya aims to capitalize on its strengths and opportunities to forge a robust economic partnership with Japan. “We are not a big state, but we have our own strengths and opportunities. We are focused on moving forward in our way. We will do a few things, but we will do them well,” Sangma added.
