Shillong ( Meghalaya), June 14 : 10 more Covid -19 patients succumbed to their infections in the last 24 hours taking the death toll so far to 743 .
Among the new deaths , 4 were from East Khasi Hills , 2 each from West Jaintia Hills and Ri Bhoi and 1 each from East Garo Hills and West Garo Hills .
An official statement from the government said that 403 new Covid -19 cases were detected on Monday which includes 226 from East Khasi Hills .

A total of 487 patients were discharged from various hospitals today after full recovery .
The active cases as of now stand at 4529.
