Shillong (Meghalaya), Oct, 1 : The Conrad Sangma led Meghalaya Democratic Alliance government will have a cabinet reshuffle this evening.
According to sources ,Comingone Ymbon who holds charge of Fisheries and Public Work Department (Building) will pave way for Mawhati MLA Dasakhiat Lamare while PHE minister Samlin Malngiang for his party colleague from Mawkyrwat Renikton Lyngdoh Tongkhar.
It is learnt that Ymbon has agreed to let go of his berth as the Jaiñtia Hills has already got four representation in the cabinet while Ri Bhoi district has none.
Earlier , the HSPDP confirmed that party MLA and PHE minister, Samlin Malngiang will be dropped from the cabinet and he will be replaced by Mawkyrwat legislator, Renikton Lyngdoh Tongkhar.
The swearing-in ceremony of two new Members of Council of Ministers will be held today at 5:00 PM at Raj Bhavan Durbar Hall, here.
