Shillong ( Meghalaya), Apr 6 : BJP Meghalaya today celebrated the 44th Foundation Day of the Party in BJP State Party Office and in all Mandals of Khasi, Jaintia and Garo Hills. BJP Party flag was hoisted in all the Mandals and in State Party Office by State President Ernest Mawrie in the presence of State Office Bearers, State Executive Members, Morcha heads, District Presidents, Mandal Presidents and all karyakartas of the Party, floral tribute was offered to the founder member of the Party, Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay which was followed by the live video presentation of the speech of PM Narendra Modi and BJP National President JP Nadda.
To commemorate this occasion BJP has launched across the country Sewa Hi Saptah , a week long programme from today till the 14th of April, the birth anniversary of Baba Saheb Ambedkar.
BJP National President JP Nadda in his speech congratulated karyakartas of BJP the largest political party on Sewa Hi Saptha. BJP National President spoke on the journey of BJP and the recent win and the monumental success of the Party in the North East and other parts of the country which speaks volumes of the confidence of the people in the ideals and functioning of BJP party, which is constantly striving to better the lives of the people upto the last mile and the last individual.
While promising to always work for the advancement and the upliftment in lives of our citizens, Nadda highlighted programmes like Ek Bharat Shresth Bharat which is helping in creating harmony and bonding amongst all sections of society in the entire country.
PM Modi while remembering the founders of the Party and their farsightedness and selfless contribution in establishing this Party, paid homage to them. PM Modi extended greetings to all on Hanuman Jayanthi and said the Party draws inspiration from Hanuman and as is known that there is no work that Hanuman cannot do, similarly BJP have done, continues to do and will keep on doing all work for ensuring our country’ s progress and development in all sectors.
BJP abides by the Constitution and works day and night to ensure upholding of the provisions of the Constitution with all sincerity. Modi also emphasised that the democratic spirit is integral in the BJP mode of functioning and the party dedicates its works without discrimination for the hundred crores of citizens of the country. Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas Sabka Vishwas Sabka Prayas ensures unprecedented socio- economic inclusion in all spheres.
Ensuring social justice, equality and employment of all segments is for BJP not a political agenda and vote bank politics but a means for the advancement and development of society and the country as a whole.
PM Modi further emphasised that political culture of BJP encourages to take the whole world together and urged youth, Mahila and other karyakartas to learn while they work from positive instances worldwide.
