Shillong (Meghalaya), May 25 : Another COVID-19 case was reported in the state on Monday , taking the total number of active cases in the state to 2.
Meghalaya Chief Minister, Conrad K Sangma in a tweet said , the person had travelled from Chennai along with the 14th case.
“The person was in isolation since the day of arrival. Person is presently in Resubelpara under institutional isolation and medical observation,” Sangma tweeted.
The last two cases have come from Erode District of Tamil Nadu and they were in the same institute there.
The state has registered 15 COVID cases so far which includes 2 active, 12 cured and one death)
The Chief Ministe tweeted at 2.07 pm , ”Another person who had traveled from Chennai along with the 14th case has turned out to be COVID19 positive. The person was in isolation since the day of arrival. Person is presently in Resubelpara under institutional isolation and medical observation. For further clarity, the last two cases have come from Erode District of Tamilnadu and they were in the same institute there.”
