Shillong (Meghalaya), Nov 6 : 86 new Covid cases were detected in the state today taking the state tally to 9,979 .
Among the new cases , 25 were reported from East Garo Hills , 21 from East Khasi Hills , 13 from Ri Bhoi , 10 from West Garo Hills, 6 from East Jaintia Hills , 5 from West Jaintia Hills , 4 from South West Garo Hills and 2 from South Garo Hills .

A total of 91 patients were declared recovered today .
The total cases in the state as of now is 9.987 and the active cases stand at 984 after 8.904 patients were discharged after recovery . 91 patients have so far died due to Covid .
