Shillong (Meghalaya), Dec 14 : Based specific intelligence inputs , the ANTF East Khasi Hills along with Madanrting PS Police detained a suspected drug peddler Vanlalropuia at Umphyrnai village, today .
During search of the vehicle , 40 soap cases of Heroin was recovered weighing 431gm.

Later Police laid a trap for the buyers of the consignment and accordingly a checkpoint was placed and two persons by the name of Vanlaltluangi and Bruno Faihriem were apprehended.
A case under NDPS is being taken up against the three accused .
