Shillong (Meghalaya ) , Feb 6 : The state has reported 24 new COVID19 positive cases during the last 24 hours while the number of active cases in the state stands at 102.
The number of deaths remains at 147. With recovery of three more persons in the last 24 hours, 13596 persons have so far recovered from the disease in the state.

All the new infections and recoveries were reported in East Khasi Hills.
According to a health department press note , 3, 44,070 persons have tested for COVID-19 in the state out of which 3, 30,225 were tested negative for the virus. Thirty-two persons are placed under institutional quarantine and 70 under home quarantine.
