Shillong (Meghalaya), June 15 : 7 more Covid -19 patients succumbed to their infections in the last 24 hours and 450 new cases were reported on Tuesday .
According to an official statement, all the the new fatalities were reported in East Khasi Hills district .
The statement also said that 450 new cases were detected in the state in the last 24 hours out which 151 were from East Khasi Hills a, 74 from West Garo Hills , 69 from West Jaintia Hills, 41 from South West Garo Hills , 26 from North Garo Hills and 21 from Ri Bhoi .

Meanwhile , 542 patients were discharged from various hospitals after recovery on Tuesday .
The active cases as of now stands at 4,430 .
