Shillong(Meghalaya), Jan 19, : The Government of Meghalaya has affected a major reshuffle among the bureaucrats affecting many of the Government’s Departments.
A notification issued by Personnel Department said Ms. Rosetta Mary Kurbah, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Ri-Bhoi District, Nongpoh is transferred and posted as Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Health & Family Welfare Department with effect from the date of taking over charge and until further orders.
Ram Kumar S, IAS, Joint Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Health & Family Welfare Department, Mission Director, NHM shall also function as Chief Executive Officer, Meghalaya Society for Social Audit and Transparency with effect from the date of taking over charge and until further orders.
Abhilash Barnawal, IAS, Additional District Magistrate i/c Amlarem (Civil) Sub-Division, Amlarem is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, East Jaintia Hills District, Khliehriat with effect from the date of taking over charge and until further orders.
Jagdish Chelani , IAS, Deputy Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Planning Department, Executive Director MBMA etc., shall also function as Deputy Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Department of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare and Director, MIE with effect from the date of taking over charge and until further orders.
Arpit Upadhyay , IAS, Additional District Magistgrate i/c Pynursla Civil Sub-Division Pynursla is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner Ri-Bhoi District, Nongpoh with effect from the date of taking over charge and until further orders.
Shivansh Awasthi , IAS, Sub-Divisional Officer (Sadar) Ri-Bhoi District, Nongpoh is transferred and posted as Under Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Finance Department with effect from the date of taking over charge and until further orders. He shall also function as Under Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Sports & Youth Affairs Department and Executive Director, Meghalaya State Skills Development Society with effect from the date of taking over charge and until further orders.
Ms. Wanrilin A.M. Booth , MCS, Director, sports & Youth Affairs, Joint Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Sports & Youth Affairs Department etc., is relieved of her functions as Joint Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Sports & Youth Affairs Department with effect from the date of handing over charge and until further orders.
Ms. Anita Kharpor , MCS, Director, Small Saving, Joint Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Personnel & A.R. Department, Executive Director, Meghalaya State Skills Development Society is relieved of her functions as Executive Director, Meghalaya State Skills Development Society with effect from the date of handing over charge and until further orders.
Ms. Evarinia L Warjri, MCS, Additional Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills District, Shillong is posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner i/c Pynursla Civil-Sub Division, Pynursla with effect from the date of taking over charge and until further orders.
