Shillong (Meghalaya), Aug 5 : The Meghalaya Board of Secondary Education (MBOSE) on Thursday declared the SSLC and HSSLC Arts results.
A total number 64269 of students appeared in this years class X board examination out of which 34003 students the examination with a pass percentage of 52.91percent.
The first position was secured by Kevinstrong Lawrinlang of St Thomas Higher secondary school Mairang who scored 576 out of 600. The second position was bagged by Wanteibok Pator of Sawlyngdoh Higher secondary school in Mowkaiaw and the third position was secured by Kashish Samee of St Mary’s higher secondary school Shillong.
Mridumoy Saha of Sherwood school Tura scored a total of 574 marks and was place d in the fourth position followed by Iaphilarisa khongbuh of Synod Higher secondary school Shillong in 5th position with 573 marks.Asif Zaman of Jawahar lal Nehru Higher secondary school of Phulbari secured sixth position with a total marks of 572. Naki kampher Rani of St Margarett Higher secondary school Shillong bagged the seventh position with 570 marks ,Priyanka Dey of St Margarett Higher secondary school Shillong got the eighth position. Laxita Agarwal of Sherwood school , Tura and Kraw kuper Simon Umdor St Anthony’s higher secondary school Shillong were placed in the ninth and tenth positions respectively.
The results of the HSSLC 2021( Arts stream) was also declared on Thursday by MBOSE.
A total of 25683 students appeared out of which 2662 passed in first division 9399 passed in second division while 6907 students passed in third division. The pass percentage was 86.75 .Daniel khyriemujat of St Anthony’s Higher secondary school Shillong topped with 462 marks out of 500. L. Kennedy Valphei of St Edmunds Higher Secondary school secured second position with 450 marks. Jethro Jarvis Roy Jyrwa St Anthony’s Higher secondary school with 449 marks secured third position. Madhurima Parasar Pathak with 447 marks and Nakutula Rakho with 443 marks secured fourth and fifth position respectively.
Both are from St Edmunds Higher secondary school Shillong.
