Dimapur, (Nagaland) Nov 18: Five times Nagaland chief minister, and former Governor of Maharashtra, Goa, Gujarat, and Odisha, Dr SC Jamir, reportedly suffered stroke Thursday morning, near Wokha while on
his way to Mokokchung to attend a relative’s funeral.
A relative of the Padma Bhushan 2020 recipient, informed this correspondent that the nono genenarian felt unwell (dizziness) while reaching Wokha district due to the road condition and he had to be airlifted by a chopper to Dimapur from Wokha.
A doctor who attended to him on the road at Wokha said that Dr. Jamir had nausea and vomiting and that all his vitals are stable except he is “hypertensive”.
