Shillong ( Meghalaya ) , June 24 : 10 more Covid patients succumbed to their infections and 420 news cases were reported in the last 24 hours with East Khasi Hills leading with 126 new Covid cases .
According to an official statement , the state recorded 10 more deaths , 7 of which were from East Khasi Hills , 2 from West Jaintia Hills and 1 from East Garo Hills . The death toll so far is 807 .

The day’s recoveries were at 298 . With this , the active cases in the state now stand at 4,424 .
