Imphal(Manipur), May 20 : The state continues to report a record of crossing 1,000 new cases two days in a row.

The state reported 1,032 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday which includes 281 from Imphal East , 310 from Imphal West , 100 from Churachandpur , 95 from Thoubal and 78 from Bishnupur .
The active caseload has now reached 8,482 according to the Health Department.
In the last 24 hours, 17 persons died, taking the death toll to 793.
The case load now stands at 49,882.The cumulative number of recovered cases is 40,607. The recovery rate is 81.40 percent.
