Shillong (Meghalaya), Sept 4: Troops of 4 Bn BSF Meghalaya nabbed a Bangladeshi youth with 5600 Kgs of Indian Sugar worth more than 2 lakhs while attempting to cross the international border illegally from India to Bangladesh.
Acting on specific info, an ambush party of 4 Bn BSF Meghalaya managed to apprehend a BD national who was carrying bags of Sugar while attempting to cross the international border illegally from India to Bangladesh.

The apprehended youth revealed his identity as Soheb Ahmed (17 Yrs) resident of village- Dibirhor, Dist- Sylhet, Bangladesh.
The seized items and apprehended person were handed over to PS – Muktapur for further investigation and legal proceedings.
