New Delhi , June 1 : Many exit polls predicted a clean sweep for the BJP-led NDA in the Lok Sabha Elections 2024. The Opposition’s INDIA bloc may face a setback by winning just over 100-130 seats.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led NDA may win over 350 of the 543 seats in the Lok Sabha, most of the exit poll predicted on Saturday.
Three exit polls predicted that the NDA may create history and cross the 400-seat milestone in the Lok Sabha polls time. Many exit polls showed a massive win for the BJP in Congress-ruled Karnataka, while India TV-CNX poll said the Chandrababu Naidu-led TDP and the NDA is likely to sweep Andhra Pradesh polls.
Different pollsters, such as India Today-Axis My India, Today’s Chanakya, Times Now-ETG, C-Voter and CSDS-Lokniti, are releasing exit polls predictions for the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 today.
Exit polls 2024 was released on Saturday, June 1, soon after the voting for the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 ended.
The Lok Sabha Elections 2024 will be held in seven phases, with the first phase being held on April 17 and the last on June 1. The elections were for 543 Lok Sabha seats. The Lok Sabha Election results will be declared on June 4.
Meanwhile, simultaneous assembly elections were held for Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim. The results for the assembly elections in Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim will be declared on June 2, while those of Andhra Pradesh and Odisha will be declared on June 4.
As many as 10 exit polls suggested that though the BJP-led NDA will win at least 350 seats, it will fail to cross 400-seat milestone. However, three exit polls – India Today-My Axis India, India TV-CNX, and News24-Todays Chanakya exit polls have predicted 400 plus seats for the NDA.
