Shillong (Meghalaya), Aug 10 : Eleven more Covid patients succumbed to their infections taking the death toll to 1,185 .
Among the deaths , 8 were from East Khasi Hills and 1 case each from East Jaintia Hills , Ri Bhoi and West Jaintia Hills .
Out of the 11 deaths , 6 patients were non vaccinated .

According to Health department data , 411 new cases were detected in the state on Monday with East Khasi Hills on the top with 216 cases followed by West Garo Hills with 66 cases .
707 patients were also discharged on Monday after recovery .
The active cases now stand at 4, 427 .
