Kokrajhar (Assam), Aug 10: Another 21 members of National Liberation Front of Boroland (NLFB) joined the mainstream on Tuesday in Kokrajhar district.
The team was led by self styled platoon commander B Jangkritai, assistant platoon commander B Gwswkhang along with sophisticated arms at Singimari Satyapur near Tipkai reserve forest area of Kokrajhar district on Tuesday afternoon ..
NLFB leaders including chairman Bikram Islary , M Batha, peace initiators Prithiraj Narayan Deb Mech and Thulunga Basumatary were present when they formally returned back to the mainstream .
They were taken to Kokrajhar designated camp amidst tight security .
The members were seen coming out of the jungles with sophisticated arms and hand grenades.
They also deposited 8 sophisticated arms including AK 47 riffle and six hand grenades before the police.
The remaining cadres are likely to return back after Aug 15 .
