Shillong ( Meghalaya), Sept 2 : 7 more Covid patients succumbed to their infections and 221 fresh cases were reported in the state in the last 24 hours .
Among the deaths , 4 cases were from East Khasi Hills while 1 case each was reported in Ri Bhoi , West Jaintia Hills and West Khasi Hills .

The death toll now has gone up to 1,322 .
According to the data shared by the Health department , 221 fresh cases were detected on Thursday with East Khasi Hills on the top with 113 cases .
A total of 192 patients were also discharged on Thursday after full recovery .
The active cases now stand at 2,275
