Shillong ( Meghalaya), Aug 11 : 10 more Covid patients succumbed to their infections and 463 fresh cases were registered in the state in the past 24 hours .
Among the 10 fatalities , 7 were from East Khasi Hills , 2 from West Khasi Hills and 1 from West Jaintia Hills .
On Wednesday , 463 new cases were detected in the state with East Khasi Hills on the top with 255 cases .

384 patients were also discharged on Wednesday after full recovery .
The active cases now stand at 4,496 .
