Agartala (Tripura), April 12 : 1 more person succumbed to Covid19 infection in the state taking the toll to 391. The state also recorded 48 new positive cases in the past 24 hours .
According to a press statement issued by the state health department on Sunday evening, 48 more people were infected by Covid19 in the last 24 hours.
Earlier on Saturday a total of 41 people were infected by Covid . A total of 266 people have been infected with the virus so far in the month of April.
The state has so far recorded a total of 33,833 Covid19 positive cases while 33,088 people have recovered and 391 people have died.
The death rate in Tripura is 1.16%, which is the highest in the region and after Assam ,Tripura is second in the Northeast in terms of the number of Covid19 victims.
