Guwahati (Assam ), April 11 : The state on Sunday registered 352 new Covid cases out of which 186 were from the capital city .
One critically ill patient succumbed due to Covid related complications in Lakhimpur district.
According state health and family welfare press release , a total of 73,329 Covid19 tests were conducted in Assam, out of which 352 new cases were found positive for the virus. Today ’s positivity rate of Assam stood at 0.48%.
The state as of now the state has 1,902 Covid19 active cases.
Among the new cases ,Kamrup Metro registered 186 cases, Dibrugarh district registered 23 cases, Nagaon 18 and Tinsukia district registered 17 cases.
The state has so far conducted a total of 75,21,991 Covid19 tests and 2,20,310 positive cases while 2,15,943 people have been discharged from the hospitals.
The recovery rate stands 98.02% while the state’s death rate is 0.51%.
