Shillong(Meghalaya ), Nov 28: 1 more Covid patient succumbed to his infections in Shillong taking death toll in the State to 111.
According to official sources , the patient has been identified as Stanis Lyngdoh aged 62 from Mawlai Mawtawar who passed away at 7. 20 am in Civil Hospital, here . He was diagnosed with Covid Pneumonia with ARDS with Brain infarct with herniation.
Meanwhile ,71 new cases were detected today, taking the number of active cases to 858 .

Among the new cases , 53 were reported from East Khasi Hills ( 3 Armed Forces , 50 others), 9 from West Garo Hills, 3 each from Ri Bhoi and West Jaintia Hills, 2 from North Garo Hills and 1 from West Khasi Hills.
A total of 129 patients were declared recovered today .
