Shillong (Meghalaya), Nov 13 : 70 new Covid cases were detected in the state on Friday taking the state tally to 10, 581.

Among the new cases, 31 were reported from East Khasi Hills, 19 from Ri Bhoi district, 6 from East Garo Hills, 3 from West Garo Hills, 2 each from East Jaintia Hills and South West Garo Hills and 1 from West Jaintia Hills .
The active cases as of now stand at 1, 028 after a total of 9, 455 patients recovered . The death toll stands at 98 .
