Mumbai , Apr 28 : Nagaland-born model and actress, Carol Andrea Kevichüsa, has made a name for herself in the entertainment industry and has been awarded the Best Female Debut Award at the 68th Hyundai Filmfare Awards 2023.
She earned this prestigious recognition for her incredible performance as Aido in the film Anek. The 22-year-old actress is touted to be one of India’s emerging stars, and her success is inspiring young girls everywhere.
Born in Kohima, Kevichüsa was discovered by Anima Creative Management at the age of 16. She was still in school but started modelling and splitting her time between studies and shoots. Kevichüsa’s talent eventually led her to Bollywood, where she starred alongside Ayushmann Khurrana in Anek.
Despite being hesitant about the role initially, she took on the challenge and delivered an impressive performance that won her critical acclaim.
Kevichüsa has also worked with several big names in the industry, including Sabyasachi Mukherjee and Katrina Kaif’s cosmetic line, Kay Beauty. With her talent, charm, and hard work, there’s no doubt that Carol Andrea Kevichüsa is on her way to becoming one of Bollywood’s most sought-after actresses.
She bagged the award in recognition of her outstanding performance in the movie “Anek,” Andrea has been nominated in the best debut female category.
Andrea, a well-known model since 2016, debuted in Bollywood with Anek, a role played by Anubhav Sinha, when she was just 15 and had only recently entered the modelling industry.
She also appeared in the film alongside Ayushman Khurana. She portrayed a Northeastern boxer in the drama.
