Guwahati ( Assam) , May 27 : A video has gone viral on the social media where 5 culprits including a lady are seen brutally torturing , stripping & sexually abusing a young girl .
The time or place of this incident is not clear nor the identity of the victim or the perpetrators .
Form the video , it is not yet very clear if the girl belongs to North East .
Apart from the culprits undressing the girl and sexually abusing , there are also visuals of them inserting a glass bottle into her private parts .
Robin Hibu, IPS from New Delhi said , “We are trying to identify the girl, who is being assaulted and stripped …..also trying to identify perpetrators for further action “.
He also clarified that he video is not related to the Naga girl suicide case of late Lovikali Sumi at Jodhpur as the sister of the dead girl and Police have verified the video and it’s not the suicide girl, who is in the video.
Hibu said that he has already informed Gujarat Police Mizoram Police and Rajasthan Police as some miscreants have dubbed it as the same case of Jodhpur Naga girl suicide case .
Meanwhile , Assam police has appealed that anyone with any information regarding this crime or the criminals may please contact them and they will be rewarded handsomely.
Though it is not clear where this incident took place and it may not be from Assam,, but police here are reaching out to proactively locate the culprits.
