Assam Covid -19 : 83 more deaths , 5704 fresh cases reported

Guwahati( Assam), May 27 : The state reported 83 more Covid -19 deaths in the last 24 hours while 5704 new cases were detected .

Among the new cases , 569 cases were reported from Kamrup ( Metro) .

The new cases were detected after conducting 119441 tests.

The overall positivity percentage for the day was 4.78 % and the recovery rate stood at 85.19%,
